Dirt Bowl is a basketball tournament in Louisville, Kentucky that is held in Shawnee Park every summer. The tournament lasts 6+ weeks featuring some of the best basketball talent in the region. Dirt Bowl has been a Louisville tradition for 40+ years.
Dirt Bowl was nearly shut down and didn't occur during the years of 2005, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011, but returned in full force in 2012.
